Children under 11 yrs. of age accompany their parents to the Sunday Worship Service in the sanctuary at 10:00 a.m. and enjoy private classes downstairs after a children's story/prayer.   Youth, 12 and up, attend discussion groups where they relate current events to biblical teachings. Here, leadership skills are developed.  These young people often lead the younger class with a program appropriate to their age.  During our annual Christmas play and on Palm Sunday before Easter, the children are involved in leading the worship service.   Catechsim classes are held for those wishing to become members of the church.

Faith Reformed Kids – Missions! 

We may be young , and we may be little, but God has big plans that fit little hands!  With his help we will change this world one heart at a time! 

I am very fired up about our first mission!  Through the deacons fundraising at Christmastime 2007 – we have been able to sponsor 2 children in the Compassion Canada Program!!  Our own Sunday school kids chose the 2 we would sponsor!

They have chosen Hidalgo – a 7 year old boy, and Heridania – a 9 year old girl.  Pictures of these children will be on our bulletin board. 

Our job is to pray for these children every day and write letters to them to encourage them and to share Gods' love with them from across the world!  I am including pictures of each child on magnets to hang on your fridge, so remembering them will be easy! 

We can also send them little surprises, but they need to be paper products only.  Things like bookmarks, stickers, postcards, coloring pages, pictures , etc. would be great.

We would like to send each one a letter every month or so and the Sunday School Kids will be taking turns writing. A schedule will follow.

In turn, they will be praying for us and will be sending us letters also to update us on their progress! 

I thank you all in advance for making this mission a priority in your children's life; they need to know that Gods love can reach across oceans and touch those who desperately need to know him. My hope is that your children are as touched by this mission as the sponsored kids are touched by us.
