Announcements
Movie Night:
The combined Lutheran/Reformed men’s group will be hosting a family movie night at the Lutheran Church on Friday, February 24th at 7:00pm. The feature film will be “Courageous,” a movie about how faith in Jesus affects the lives of four suburban police officers. Refreshments to follow.
Camp Shalom:
Camp registration is open! Check out the website for early bird discounts. www.countrysidecamp.com. Keep in mind also that we have money budgeted for supporting kids going to camp! Also, we are now accepting applications for summer staff positions. Visit the website to apply or for a list of available positions. Interviews will start February 18th.
Sermon Series:
We are walking through the Ten Commandments together this winter in an effort to better understand what we believe and why we believe it. If you missed last week’s sermon, you can find it in three ways: you can ask for an audio copy, you can read it on the website, or you can take a paper copy from the back table. This twelve-part series will take us up to Palm Sunday this year. Watch for special guest preachers along the way!
The text message on the front cover, for those who don’t understand texting, should be translated: “Don’t worship pictures or idols.”
Prayer List:
2 Chronicles 7.14: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
